Install Slax 7 To Hdd Media
HI, I need a quick help. I am using dell studio 1555. Os is windows 7. Some days ago i had the problem.
The problem was that when i started the windows it went for repair but the repair process could not be completed. I tried to restore the system on last successful bootable position but the problem was still there. Wisconsin veteran driver's license.
Sep 11, 2013 Source: I succesfully installed Slax 7 on my HDD using the./bootinst.sh command. 7 best Linux live CD distro for 7 different purpose. Updated - March 13. Act as a PXE server to boot slax on other computers on a LAN, load previously made changes etc. With the copy to RAM option, the boot media can be removed safely while the system is running entirely from RAM. It runs entirely from the USB/CD media and do not. Slax on CD/DVD If you plan to run Slax from a CD or DVD disc then you need to download Slax as an ISO file. In fact, the ISO file is a complete image of a CD, so what you need to do is to burn it to a CD/DVD media. Actually it doesn't matter if you choose CD or DVD, both will just work.
Today i made a big mistake. I format the c drive when i restart the system, the system is giving this message ' Remove disk or other media. Press any key to restart'. I dont attach any usb or flash drive. I dont insert any bootable cd.
I only have the windows 7 dvd which i got when i buy the laptop. Please guys i am in big trouble. Please Please Please give me any solution in detail. Step by step solution would be appreciable. I am new to this.

It may be possible to recover the original partition. Download and use testdisk. Read ALL the instruction before attempting to use testdisk. Get testdisk at the link below. The original problem may still remain.
If you still can't boot to Windows at least you may be able to recover your personal files. In order to give additional help with the original problem you had you need to provide more information about the problem. What were you doing on the computer before that problem happened? 
Look, while you can't boot the windows 7 installation or recovery disk and you get a blue screen during windows xp installation, I don't see any option, to get arround this.
If one of my friends would have this problem, I would have told him to come over with it, so that I can have a look at it directly. Could be a simple problem, but could also be a heavy problem. We adviced you to check all the simple thing, coming to my mind. The heavy things are for a professional guy and can mostly not be solved via postings in a forum. The original poster should always write the last response!!!
